Q: What is the schedule for shareholder dividends?
A: Dividends are issued 3 times per year.  The usual schedule is April, September, and December.


Q: How much are the dividends?
A: The amount is based upon the amounts of oil production royalty payments and business venture profit sharing.  The Finance Committee makes a recommendation to the parent Board of Directors.  The Board then follows set policies and resolutions to evaluate finances and determines the final dividend amount.


Q: Do my children receive shares of the Corporation when they are born, or how to they become shareholders?
A: Currently the Corporation does not have an "after born" program.  Stocks may be gifted to children or relatives of living stockholders through the Gift Share Program.


Q: How do I notify the Corporation of a name change or change of address?
A: Changes of address may be submitted to Kuukpik Corporation by postal mail, fax, or in person.  Forms must be signed for the change of address to be accepted.


Q: Does Kuukpik Corporation provide any assistance with direct or indirect medical costs to shareholders?
A: Assistance is provided only to emergency and critical medical care.  This does not include pregnancies, dental visits, eye care expenses, or other relatively minor issues.


Q: When does employment for ice road construction begin?
A: Kuukpik Corporation human resources prepares throughout the year for the construction season, but the most active hiring time of year is December through May of each year.
